Ideas Into Impact: Amity University Jharkhand Put Young Entrepreneurs in the Spotlight

Amity University Jharkhand hosted Startup Conclave 2026, bringing young entrepreneurs, industry experts, innovators and students together on a common platform to explore the possibilities of innovation and entrepreneurship. Organised by the university’s Centre for Startup, Innovation, Incubation and Entrepreneurship, the conclave focused on encouraging young minds to turn ideas into viable ventures and contribute to economic growth through job creation. Chief Guest Jitendra Kumar Singh, Secretary of Jharkhand’s Labour, Employment, Training and Skill Development Department, highlighted the immense potential of India’s young talent and said the right opportunities and guidance can help youth drive innovation while creating employment. He also shared information about various skill development initiatives in the state and encouraged students to dream big and work towards turning their ambitions into reality.
The conclave also emphasised developing innovative solutions to real-world challenges. Sandeep Madival, CEO of a Tata Technologies-supported incubation centre, encouraged students to identify genuine problems and develop practical solutions, while Aditya Malhotra, President of the Jharkhand Chamber of Commerce and Industries, highlighted the growing role of young people as job creators rather than job seekers. Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Ashok K. Srivastava urged students to recognise opportunities amid challenges and turn their ideas into action.
The event also featured the felicitation of startup founders from the university, along with the signing of MoUs with the Jharkhand Chamber of Commerce and Industries and Startup Jharkhand. A panel discussion further introduced students to emerging opportunities in innovation and entrepreneurship, making the conclave a valuable platform for ideas, collaboration and future-ready enterprise.
