From Ideas to Impact: Kalam Academy Ranchi Builds a New Launchpad for Emerging Startups

Kalam Academy Ranchi has announced a new initiative to connect young entrepreneurs and emerging startups with the wider startup ecosystem. At a press conference, the academy outlined its vision of helping entrepreneurs access more than 2 crore in startup funding through government-backed schemes such as Startup Bihar. The initiative aims to go beyond skill development by supporting young founders through the process of launching, scaling and accessing government assistance and investment opportunities.
Founder Vikas Mishra said smaller cities have no shortage of ideas or talent and that the right combination of guidance, technology and execution can help promising ventures grow into successful startups. He added that the academy’s objective is not merely to run courses, but to help build viable businesses and connect entrepreneurs with funding, mentorship and government support.
Under the academy’s guidance, Bill Hero Private Limited has received approval for a 10 lakh grant under Startup Bihar, with the first instalment of 4 lakh already released. The company is developing technology solutions for small and medium-sized retail stores. Meanwhile, RadiantPixel Private Limited has also received approval under the scheme and is currently completing the bank account process before moving ahead with the funding formalities. Through such initiatives, Kalam Academy aims to create a stronger support system for young entrepreneurs and help promising ideas move from the drawing board to the marketplace.
