JIASOWA FAIR 2022 ATTRACTING VISITORS WITH FOOD, FUN AND ENTERTAINMENT

Jharkhand IAS Officers Wives Association (JIASOWA) threw a spectacular five-day Diwali fair at Morabadi Ground in Ranchi. Earlier on 9th of October this year the information about the fair was shared by JIASOWA Vice President Namita Singh and Amita Khandelwal in the press conference at IAS Club. Namita Singh said that the JIASOWA Fair has been organized continuously since 2003 on behalf of JIASOWA with an extensive objective to promote women entrepreneurship and rural artisans. Artisans from across the country such as Gujarat, Rajasthan, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal, Bihar and Jharkhand ardently participated in the fair. With more than 200 stalls in the fair, visitors had an ocean to shop from. Products related to folk art prevalent in every nook and corner of the country were available along with popular apparel collections. The event was exalted by the presence of senior members of JIASOWA, Ranjana Swarup, secretary Nikki Toppo, besides Ranjana Kumar, Manu Jha, Shweta Shukla and many others. Vice President Namita Singh briefed about the attractions of the fair viz. adventure games for children as well as adults. Apart from stalls, cultural programs were also presented on consecutive evenings by famous artists from all over India. Jhumar, Chhau and other traditional dances were performed by those visiting the fair. Mobile ATMs  Stalls related to health check up camps, Aadhaar registration center and information about various schemes run by the Jharkhand government were also available for the convenience of the visitors in the fair which enhanced the glory of the JIASOWA fair.
