RANCHI HACKS 2026 CONCLUDES WITH INNOVATION,

IDEAS AND A CELEBRATION OF YOUNG TECH MINDS

 

The two day National Hackathon Ranchi Hacks, organised by Sarla Birla University in collaboration with Google Developer Group, concluded on a high note in Ranchi. Bringing together bright young innovators from across the country, the hackathon witnessed 120 participants forming 31 teams to work on industry focused problem statements spanning Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Blockchain, Data Systems and Cloud Computing.
After intense rounds of evaluation by the jury, the most promising solutions were awarded top honours. Team Sync from RVS Bhilai secured the first prize of ₹30000, followed by Team Hacksmith from NIT Jamshedpur which received ₹20000 as the second prize. The third prize of ₹10000 went to Team Joyboy from Sarla Birla University. Two additional teams were also recognised with consolation awards for their outstanding innovation efforts, highlighting the depth of creativity displayed throughout the event.
The grand finale at the SBU auditorium blended technology with celebration through vibrant cultural performances. The closing ceremony was attended by Director General Prof. Gopal Pathak, Vice Chancellor Prof. C Jagannathan, Dean CSE Dr. Pankaj Goswami, Dr. Priyanka Srivastava and Dr. Deepti Kumari. A participant from Naman Vidya School, Hazaribagh received special appreciation for an Early Innovation Project. Pro Chancellor Bijay Kumar Dalmia and Rajya Sabha MP Dr. Pradeep Kumar Verma congratulated the organisers and participants, noting that Ranchi Hacks successfully encouraged innovation, technical thinking and the spirit of startup culture among students.
