Grace in Motion: Bharatanatyam Evening Illuminates Ranchi with Rhythms of Tradition
Renowned Bharatanatyam artiste Ms. K. Pramila and her team delivered a spellbinding performance at Birsa Munda Fun Park during a classical dance evening organized by Relations and Fun Park to promote Indian classical art and culture. With a seamless blend of devotion and discipline, the performers showcased Lord Shiva’s stuti, Guru Vandana, and other traditional compositions, captivating both children and adults alike. One of the highlights was the depiction of Navadurga through the famed Amb Shambhavi Kirtan, while Ms. Pramila’s soulful narration of Shivam and Krishna-Balaram tales added depth and emotion. Her team, through expressive gestures and precise movements, reflected the spiritual and cultural richness of Bharatanatyam, enchanting the audience throughout.
The event was graced by dignitaries including IPS and Additional Director General of Police Mr. Rezi Dungdung, Priyanka Parameswaran (AGM, CET Dhurwa), Sandeep Ranjan (Founder & CEO, AbhiyoAvaya International), Dr. Anil Kumar (social worker), and Directors Ashutosh Dwivedi and Rishikesh Lal. Artists trained under Jharkhand Kala Mandir and Ms. Pramila’s troupe were felicitated with certificates of appreciation. Calling it more than just a show, Director Ashutosh Dwivedi emphasized that such evenings help bring the public closer to the roots of Indian heritage. Volunteers including Jai Srivastava, Radhe Bhatt, and others played a key role in organizing the successful event, which ultimately became a true celebration of India’s traditional art and timeless culture.
